Aaron Godfred

Aaron Godfred is an award-winning content executive with over 17 years of experience in digital video, film, and television. As the General Manager of Donut, the leading media company for the next generation of automotive enthusiasts, he is responsible for all of the brand’s content and revenue operations.

Prior to Recurrent, he was the VP of JellySmash Studios, the creative and production arm of Jellysmack, the leading creator services company. He led content strategy, multi-platform distribution, and monetization for top creators like Spicyycam, Pasta Queen, Karina Garcia, and UFC Champion Francis Ngannou. 

Previously, Godfred was recruited to help launch VENN, a 24/7 television network focused on gaming and esports. As SVP, he spent more than a year developing and executive producing their slate of original programming. He also spent time at Fullscreen, a digital entertainment company that focuses on social media content creators and brands, leading their celebrity division. Additional experience includes Omaze, Revelations Entertainment, Endeavor, and Octagon. 

Aaron holds a BA in International Business from Linfield University and an MBA from the University of Oregon. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Aaron resides in Los Angeles with his wife and three children. When not working he can be found rock climbing, camping, and adventuring with his family.
