SAVEUR Launches New Website Alongside the Debut of ‘Place Settings’ Podcast and Special Content Packages

NEW YORK — November 18, 2022SAVEUR, the digital-first publication for passionate home cooks and culinary explorers, today revealed its relaunched website and new content offerings.

The exciting redesign is anchored by special themed editorial content, including the debut of the brand’s first-ever podcast, “Place Settings”; a “New Traditions” holiday entertaining hub filled with tips and recipes (and featuring Andy Baraghani and Hannah Chamberlin); the editor-curated guide to holiday gifting; and more.

Since 1994, SAVEUR has been a beloved destination for people who experience the world food first. The refreshed website now offers a cleaner layout, faster load times, and a more intuitive experience for visitors to discover seasonal recipes, culinary destinations, and cultural trends in the food world with the aim of bringing global flavors to every home kitchen. The new website is also a trusted resource for product reviews, shopping guides, and expert advice.

Now, visitors to the site can catch weekly columns from SAVEUR editors that cover breakfast (Rise & Dine), global-influenced weeknight dishes (One Pot Bangers), and weekend fun (Dinner at Kat’s)—along with regular dispatches from seasoned culinary correspondents Peter Som, Katie Parla, Shane Mitchell, Shannon Mustipher, Romy Gill, and others.

As a nod to the decade it all began, later this month SAVEUR will launch a fun and nostalgic celebration of 1990s food culture—covering everything from the pitfalls of the Snackwell generation to how NAFTA helped turn guacamole into a national sensation–along with a revamp of over a dozen throwback recipes, including molten chocolate cake, jalapeño poppers, and pizza bagels. The soundtrack to the multimedia package? A custom-created DJ set stacked with ‘90s dinner party jams just in time for entertaining season.

“We’re thrilled to debut SAVEUR’s new look,” said Kate Berry, Chief Creative Officer of SAVEUR. “Alongside exciting editorial initiatives, recipes, new voices, and our inaugural podcast, our team continues to deliver beloved recipes combined with uniquely immersive storytelling that elevates the culinary experience, and we hope this relaunch reflects SAVEUR’S commitment to connecting with readers to explore their culinary creativity.”

Rounding out the brand’s new era, SAVEUR is expanding on new platforms with the launch of “Place Settings.” Hosted by Executive Editor Alex Redgrave, the show explores food through on-the-ground storytelling, with immersive audio you can almost taste. This season, SAVEUR is spotlighting chefs, farmers, makers, and entrepreneurs across the U.S. who are transforming the food space through their unique connection to a place, with a guest roster including Alice Waters, Sean Brock, Omar Tate & Cybille St. Aude Tate, Johnny Ortiz, and Doris Hồ-Kane
