Kate Berry is the Chief Content Officer for Domino and Saveur. At the helm of the two major design and culinary publications, she is responsible for all editorial calendars, production, and brand extensions. She also designed Domino’s line of kid’s furniture produced in partnership with Crate & Kids.
Kate draws from her 15 years of editorial experience to lead teams across various functions and has played an integral role in expanding both brands while overseeing their shift to all-digital. Under her leadership, Domino has received several awards from the Society of Publication Designers while Saveur garnered a National Magazine Award nomination.
Prior to her role as CCO, Kate was the Executive Creative Director of Domino where she led the creative initiatives across all of Domino’s extensions, including print, digital, experiential, licensing, newsletters, and social. She originally joined Domino in 2016 as Style Director to guide their strategy of home and design editorials, designer profiles, and more.
Before joining Domino, Kate spent nine years at Martha Stewart Living and Martha Stewart Weddings after her own wedding was featured in the latter publication and its design caught the attention of Martha Stewart. Prior to her work in media, Berry spent 10 years as a floral and interior stylist in San Francisco.
She resides in New York City with her husband, Ian, a designer at CNN, their daughter, Quinn, and cat, Charlie.
