Daniel Horowitz is VP, Head of Advertising Sales for Recurrent. As the company’s founding advertising revenue leader, Daniel oversees sales, client success, programmatic, agency development, and business operations; shaping the go-to-market strategy across Recurrent’s entire portfolio. Daniel’s team collaborates with brands and agencies on groundbreaking, award-winning storytelling and developing first-to-market innovations.
Daniel has over 16 years of experience in sales, media, advertising, and talent development. Prior to Recurrent, he was a Director of Sales and Strategy at Yahoo/Verizon Media, leading their largest global brand partnerships team responsible for over a quarter billion dollars annually. His team’s work has been recognized by the Webby’s, Digiday Awards, IAC Awards, AdClub Maven Awards, and DMN Awards.
Daniel was an inaugural member of Yahoo’s Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion taskforce; a focus he is continuing with Recurrent’s DEI workgroup. He is also passionate about his philanthropic work with City Harvest, hosting volunteer events and helping raise over $75K to date to feed food-insecure New Yorkers.
Daniel holds a BA in Political Science from Hamilton College and is based in Brooklyn, NY. Outside of work, Daniel recently adopted a rescue cockapoo named Bacon who is winning hearts and minds across the Eastern Seaboard.
